Bridge in Schools

Bridge in Schools

Bridge in schools is an essential part of our work.

Bridge Lessons are being taught at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS) in Wakefield,  Harrogate Grammar School & Fulford School in York

Starting as young as 6 years old an abbreviated version of Bridge known as “MiniBridge” is taught. Older groups learn the full version of Bridge. This is done under the supervision of our qualified teachers who are CRB tested.

Research and practical experience show that playing Bridge increases not just mathematical skills but general education performance as well.

Learn Bridge Yorkshire intends to extend this to other schools in the Yorkshire area.
